Fixes the misleading “Window Protection Unavailable” status after Show Desktop is used while Stage Manager is enabled. QuitHide now confirms the desktop state across two stable observations, reports “Showing Desktop,” and temporarily pauses automation. If an ordinary app window remains visible, windows are changing, or the state cannot be determined reliably, automation continues to fail closed to prevent an unintended hide or quit. This release also refines the main menu: Auto Hide and Auto Quit use shorter action-specific duration lists while preserving the current custom value; the search field is clearer at rest, on hover, and when focused, and displays the ⌘F shortcut; 16pt horizontal margins, 28pt scope capsules, and language-appropriate punctuation are applied consistently; Ignore rows leave the duration column empty; and Quit QuitHide gains hover emphasis. The Settings window is widened to 480pt.

Strengthens window protection for native fullscreen apps under Stage Manager. If normal group reading becomes unavailable, QuitHide continues from the last recently verified sidebar-group state only after confirming that the frontmost app truly fills a display; without a reliable cache, automation remains paused to prevent an unintended hide or quit. This release also adopts more conservative initial delays: new Auto Hide rules use 30 minutes, new Auto Quit rules use 2 hours, and both the default hide delay for apps without a rule and the initial pre-quit hide delay use 30 minutes. Changing rule types applies the target rule’s default. The optional rules remain off by default, and existing rules and saved delays are not reset.

Refines window-protection statuses: with Stage Manager enabled, apps running in the foreground show green “In Use,” while only sidebar groups anchored by an Ignore app show “Protected by Stage Manager Group.” With Stage Manager disabled, visible apps also show green “In Use.” This release also improves the Force Quit confirmation button’s text contrast and widens the main menu from 410 pt to 440 pt and the search field from 174 pt to 190 pt to reduce crowding.

Fixes an issue where some apps, especially WeChat, could remain stuck on “Hiding…” long after they were already hidden. Progress is now shown only while a real hide operation is running; confirmed completion survives unstable system hidden-state flags and prevents the next timer interval from hiding the app again, while normal timing still resumes after the app is shown or activated. The Settings window is also widened slightly from 410 pt to 440 pt to reduce wrapping in Chinese and English descriptions.

Fixes an issue where the v0.6.2 disk image could lose its drag-to-Applications guidance when another QuitHide disk image with the same volume name was already mounted. Release builds now block same-name volume conflicts and verify the Finder layout, background, and Applications link after packaging and notarization. App functionality is unchanged.

Improves window-protection feedback while windows are changing or the Mac is waking: transient read failures now wait for the window state to settle, and protection is reported unavailable only after consecutive failures. Protected app statuses are now shown in green, and Settings adds a language-aware link to the QuitHide website.

Restores the menu window's default macOS background translucency by removing the additional translucent overlay. Improves in-app release notes so upgrades spanning multiple versions show every change after the installed build, adds bilingual changelog pages, and strengthens appcast history retention and release continuity checks.

Adds two optional window-protection modes. With Stage Manager on, a group containing an Ignore app protects its other members, while an all-automatic foreground group starts separate timers only after moving to the sidebar. With Stage Manager off, automatic-rule apps remain protected while any window is visible and restart timing only after all windows are fully covered. Group protection requests Accessibility only when enabled; visible-window protection needs no extra permission and never reads screen contents. Also aligns rule-picker labels while preserving their status colors.

Fixes an issue that prevented Launch at Login from being enabled when macOS could not read the login item status. QuitHide now prompts users to move and reopen the app when it is running from a disk image, Downloads, or another location outside Applications, and the DMG now provides clear drag-to-Applications instructions.

Adds secure in-app updates with Sparkle. Update archives and the update feed are verified with Ed25519 signatures; future releases prefer EdgeOne and Hong Kong COS while retaining GitHub Releases as an overseas mirror and manual download option.
